This was our scanner project, and I possibly scanned everything in the room before decided on these compositions but i really enjoyed the outcome. I had a lot of fun with this project.

I got a chance to redo my text self-portrait and now absolutely love it. The figure looking in the mirror is used with all positive adjectives, where as the figure in the mirror is used of all negative words, to play up the idea of how people perceive the good things in me, when sometimes i only see the bad.

This could be viewed with or without the actual pictures behind it. We had to put a place in the background and our self portrait in the foreground. I used a picture of my old house after the disaster and then used a recent happy picture of myself to counteract the feelings from the past. Within time all things get better.

We weren't required to put this assignment up, but i love mine, so i decided to post it.

So i guess this self portrait is ok. I probably would have done it over, if i had illustrator on my own computer and could do things at my own leisure, when i actually had time. Since im starting to actually get a work overload, those stressful all nighters and what not. However, The song makes the whole picture worth it, Streetlight Manifesto "A better place, a better time"

I really enjoyed this assignment much more than the career people. We had to make two warning labels about ourselves and i really liked both of my pieces. For the piece displayed i used all text and just changed scale and color, and layered them to get what i wanted.

The assignment was to create a bathroom like figure with illustrator that had the career of what I would be if I wasn't attending art school. I would be a rock star because who wouldn't want to be a rock star.
